Conference Attendees from 1967 - 1969

What else happen during these years? These were the years that we lost some of our greats: Dr. Martin Luther King, Langston Hughes, Robert Kennedy and Otis Redding. But it was also the years of our first: Thurgood Marshall was sworn in as the first black U.S. Supreme Court Justice on October 2, 1967. Motown greats kept putting out the hits: Love Child, Respect, I Wish it Would Rain,, Standing in the Shadows of Love, ---just to name a few. Come see where it all started!
